Grace Blessington (b. 2000, Milwaukee, WI) is a Brooklyn-based visual designer, filmmaker, and photographer. She earned her BFA in Integrated Design from Parsons School of Design in 2022 and currently works as a freelance artist and graphic designer at Prep for Prep, a nonprofit educational leadership program in Manhattan. Her multi-disciplinary practice centers on visual storytelling, spanning graphic design, analog filmmaking, installation, and digital photography. Grounded in a deep connection to the environment and femininity, her work seeks to capture the authenticity of a moment through a subversive and often surreal lens.
2015-2018
Initial developments of my artistic practice, beginning with fashion design. Began pursuing analog filmmaking during a pre-college program at the San Francisco Art Institute.
2018-2022
Studies at Parsons School of Design included graphic design, analog and digital filmmaking, 3D printing, and writing. Completed a study abroad design program at Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Graduated in May 2022 with a BFA in Integrated Design.
