I am first and foremost a visual storyteller. Typically in a digital format, my choice of medium can range in scale, texture, and tone. My artistic passion started in fashion design which has resulted a common focus on the human form, and more specifically its interactions with its surrounding environment. Those poignant, fleeting moments; life in all its complexities, or life in simple form. An owl's gaze, a lapsing full moon, wilting rose, or a crashing wave that will never occur in the same circumstance again. Capturing this in my own little butterfly jar, being able to frame it any which way I like, is a freeing and deeply moving act for me.
